Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara and Australian batsman Shaun Marsh have written to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about non-payment of dues from Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the franchise they represented during the first three editions of Indian Premier League. “Yes, Sangakkara had written to the BCCI about non-clearance of his dues. The matter came up for discussion during Wednesday’s governing council meeting,” a senior official told PTI on Thursday. However, the Kings XI Punjab spokesperson, in an e-mail, claimed otherwise.
