Rajasthan govt demands IIT in Kota
Speaking at the two-day Higher Education and Technology Ministerial Conference in New Delhi, Rajasthan education Minister Kali Charan Saraf advocated establishment of an IIT and Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT) in the state.
"Kota is ideally suited for setting up of IIT and IIIT since it has all necessary infrastructure and fulfills all parameters," he emphasised.
A proposal has already been sent to centre in this regard, he added.
