"An agreement between Chandrashekhar Azad Agriculture University in Kanpur and Dutch cluster was signed on September 20 for increasing potato production, mitigating losses, storage, processing and also facilitating upgraded techniques," the chief minister said after inaugurating the two-day workshop for farmers.
Yadav also said his government has been trying to strike a dialogue with the farmers and it was the result of this endeavour that scientists from the Netherlands are in their midst. "The state is prepared to help farmers and for this it is ready to get them training from scientists from the Netherlands or any other country," he said.
