Re ends tad weaker at 46.47/$

The spot rupee is expected to open in the range of 46.40-46 to a dollar on Monday.

The spot rupee opened at 46.43/46 and closed around same levels at 46.4650/4750 to a dollar.

The annualised premium for six-month and one-year dollars are at 1.43 per cent and 1.37 per cent respectively.

Money market

Sentiment: Bullish

Gilts saw high volumes amid interest from banks and primary dealers.

The market clocked volumes of around Rs 8000 crore for the first time after a gap of almost a year.

The yield on the 10-year bond closed at 8.03 per cent.
