ACC Appointments The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following : 1. Shri Amitabh Kumar, IRS (IT:87), as Joint DG (JS level), Ministry of Shipping (Mumbai) from the date of assumption the charge of the post for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Deepak Shetty, IRS (C&CE:84). 2. Dr. AJV Prasad, IAS (HP:86), on compulsory wait in the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals until further orders. 3. Shri Samir K Biswas, IAS (MH:90), as Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals from the date of assumption of the charge of the post for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure upto 08.10.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Dr. AJV Prasad, IAS (HP:86). 4.
