The Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & industry, seeks creative inputs for theme elements, tagline and a logo for India's participation at Hannover Messe scheduled to be held from April 13-17, 2015. Hannover Messe is the largest engineering exhibition held each year and India has been declared the Partner Country for Hannover Messe 2015. Hannover Messe 2015 will be jointly inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India and Dr. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The Partner Country status offers India an opportunity to position itself in the global business world. More than 300 engineering, manufacturing and technology companies from India will be participating at Hannover Messe 2015. Participation at the Hannover Messe is categorised by sectors, namely, Industrial Automation, Motion, Drive & Automation, Energy, Wind, MobiliTec, Digital Factory, ComVac, Industrial Supply, Surface Technology and Research & Technology. India will have a presence across all the sectors. The Partner Country is especially given an opportunity to project itself through a central theme pavilion.

The Department invites creative inputs for:
1. A Theme Pavilion: Provide your views and perspective on what elements and aspects of India should be highlighted in the theme pavilion. The size of the pavilion is 1100 sqm.
Provide a clear concept on the distinct elements of India which should be projected in the Theme Pavilion. The elements should have a global connect and relevance. Each element should be distinctive from the other.
2. A Tagline for India's participation as Partner Country: The tagline should be precise, relevant to the theme in no more than 4-5 words.
3. A Logo for representing India's engineering prowess at the Event
The logo should be dynamic, vibrant and reflect the spirit of theme. Each entry must include the elements for the theme pavilion, a tagline and a logo design. These should be submitted in soft copy and sent to pawan.chabra@ibef.org.
The winner will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.25,000/-. Top five shortlisted entries will be given a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- each. The last date for submission is November 6, 2014.
