Upper Yamuna River Board to Meet on 20th of this month to Discuss Yamuna Water Issue

Union Minister for water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Sushri Uma Bharti has said that a meeting of Upper Yamuna River Board has been called on 20th of this month to amicably sort out various issue related to Yamuna water amongst the States of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. Addressing a group of Yamuna Muktikaran Padyatrees near Palwal in Haryana today the Minister said her Ministry is committed to the clean and continuous flow of Yamuna river as in the case of river Ganga. She said the report of the IIT consortium is also expected very soon which is likely to discuss the issue of Yamuna pollution also in detail.
