Disover the difference to be the theme of IIMK fest

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) will organise Backwater v2.10, the annual business school meet from November 19-21. The theme of the fest this year is to 'Discover the Difference' – where the intention is to revive, redeem and reaffirm the unique facets of India Inc.

Backwaters would have a plethora of management events and the key event this year is Horizons, the annual management conclave conducted in association with the industry interaction cell of IIMK inviting industry leaders, academicians and policy makers to inspire the budding leaders of IIMK. 

The flagship event, White Knight, has already been launched on a scale larger than before and has a funding of Rs 3 crore which makes it one of the largest such competitions in India. Other major events include 'Young Guns – Search for the Sharp, Smooth, Sure' in association with Black-berrys, 'Avatar – the Leader-ship Quest' in association with ITC, 'C-Strat – the Innovation Challenge' in association with CTS, 'The Vault – the Banking Simu-lation Game,' 'Labyrinth 4 – the flagship Online Trea-sure Hunt', 'Chain Reaction – The Operations Strategy' event among others. The final round for Young Guns will be televised as a show on NDTV Profit, a press release said.

The corporate quiz, Bizzathalon, would be conducted by the Avinash Mudaliar and is open to all students as well as corpo-rates. The prizes worth Rs 1lakh will be given away to the winners.
