Subodh Agrawal takes over as SAFA president

The Institute of Chartered Accountants' chief Subodh Kumar Agrawal has taken over as the president of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA). Currently, Agrawal is the president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). "He (Agrawal) is only the sixth ICAI nominee to be appointed to this position during the 30-year journey of SAFA," the institute said in a statement on Wednesday.
