Ashok Leyland has gained 2% in noon trades following 57% jump in commercial vehicle sales.
The stock opened at Rs 46.70 and advanced 4.5% to a high of Rs 48.20. The stock is now up 1.7% at Rs 47. The stock is just 3% away from its 52 week high while it has zoomed 277% from its 52-week lw of Rs 12.45.
The counter has clocked volumes of 1.02 million shares on the BSE so far.
The sales of the company has increased 56.99% to 5,333 in October as against the same moth in the previous year. Exports however, fell over 5% to 399 units in the months compared to 421 units in October last year.
