Asian markets end weak; Hang Seng down 2%

All the Asian markets ended on a negative note.

The Hang Seng plunged 496 points or 2% at 21,265. The Nikkei shed 184 points or 2% to 9,891.

The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 71 points or 2.3% to 2,960 and the Taiwan Weighted Index shed 178 points or 2% to 7,355.

The Seoul Composite Index was down 24 points or 1.5% at 1,586 and the Straits Times has declined 17 points or 0.65% to 2,632.

Asian markets continue to slip on growth worries. The Hang Seng has plunged 526 points (2.5%) to 21,236. The Nikkei dropped 172 points (1.7%) to 9,902.

The Taiwan Weighted has lost 190 points (2.5%) to 7,344.

The Shanghai Composite and the Seoul Composit have declined 1.5% each to 2,981 and 1,586, respectively.

The Straits Times has dipped 19 points at 2,630.

The Hang Seng has plunged 529 points or 2.5% to 21,232. The Nikkei has dropped 196 points or 2% to 9,879.

The Shanghai Composite Index has shed 51 points or 2% to 2,981.

The Straits Times is down 25 points or 1% at 2,624.

The Seoul Composite Index and the Taiwan Weighted Index have plummeted 2% each at 1,575 and 7,349, respectively.
