Asian markets open in green

Taking cues from the positive developments in the US markets overnight, the Asian indices have opened in green.

Hang Seng is quoting at 19,931, stronger by 298 points or 1.5% and the Nikkei has opened at 9,733, higher by 190 points or 2%.

Seoul Composite is quoting at 1,668, up by 16 points or 0.9%, Taiwan Weighted is at 7,311, higher by 130 points or 1.8% and Straits
Times is at 2,796, up 16 points or 0.5%.

Shanghai Composite is at 2,586, up 24 points or 0.9%.
