Most of the base metals slipped further at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockists selling coupled with subdued industrial demand despite higher London Metal Exchange (LME) advices.
Meanwhile, brass utensils scrap and aluminium utensils scrap moved up on fresh consumer industrial offtake.
Copper cables scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire bar all fell by Rs 4 per kilo each to Rs 474, Rs 463 and Rs 502 respectively from yesterday's closing level of Rs 478, Rs 467 and Rs 506.
Copper armiture, copper sheet cutting and tin eased by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 450, Rs 444 and Rs 1697 as against Rs 453, Rs 447, Rs 1700 previously.
Copper utensils scrap softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 424. However, aluminium utensils scrap edged up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 106 and brass utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 312.
