Fresh enquiries from millers at lower levels further supported the uptrend

Chana futures for January rose by Rs 84, or 2.13% to Rs 4,020 per quintal, in 51,080 lots at the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange today.
The April contract increased by Rs 47, or 1.32%, to Rs 3,605 per quintal, in 52,510 lots.
Speculators increasing their holdings against restricted arrivals from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh also influenced the chana prices.
