Copra Kozhikode advances on good demand

Copra Kozhikode prices moved up further at the spices market here today due to firm domestic demand coupled with increased stockists offtake.

Copra office Kozhikode gained by Rs 25 per quintal to Rs 5,000 from overnight closing level of Rs 4,975.

Meanwhile, other spices maintained a stable trend in the absence of worthwhile buying activity.

Black pepper (per kilo) 201/221 (201/221), ginger bleached (per kilo) 230 (230), ginger unbleached (per kilo) 245 (245), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 5,100 (5,100), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 5,000 (4,975), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 7,000 (7,000) and copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 6,000 (6,000).
