Lacklustre Day: Reliance, Hindustan Unilever weak

The Sensex is now up 75 points at 15,149.

The NSE Nifty is up 20 points at 4,537.

Sterlite has soared 4.3% to Rs 614, and Tata Motors has surged 4% to Rs 443.

HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra have rallied around 3% each to Rs 2,465 and Rs 580, respectively.

HDFC Bank has gained 2.5% at Rs 1,248. Maruti and Tata Steel have advanced around 2% each to Rs 667 and Rs 658, respectively.

Satyam has moved up 1.7% to Rs 414, and DLF has added 1.5% to Rs 553.

NTPC is up 1.3% at Rs 183. Reliance Infrastructure, SBI and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 1,022, Rs 1,540 and Rs 1,716, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has slipped over 3% to Rs 843. BHEL has shed 2% at Rs 1,790.

Tata Power has dropped 1.7% to Rs 1,043. Reliance, Reliance Communications and Hindustan Unilever are down over 1% each at Rs 2,272, Rs 442 and Rs 243, respectively.

Out of 2,571 stocks traded so far, 1,437 have advanced, 1,059 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
