Marico shares rose 3.78 per cent to close the day at Rs 101.65 on hopes of robust sales and earnings in the July-September quarter due to higher volumes and lower raw material costs.

The company will declare second-quarter results in October. The stock was the biggest gainer in BSE’s ‘A’ group and closed at an all-time high.
