Mentha oil up 1.4% on good demand

Oil for April traded higher by 0.91%

Mentha oil futures gained 1.48% to Rs 888.70 per kg today on strong cues from spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, mentha oil for delivery in March rose by Rs 13, or 1.48%, to Rs 888.70 per kg, clocking a business volume of 372 lots.

The oil for April traded higher by Rs 8.10, or 0.91%, to Rs 893 per kg, with a trading volume of 92 lots.

Analysts said sentiment remained firm as traders engaged in creating positions on account of good demand from consuming industries and lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh.
