S Kumars Nationwide surged 11.26 per cent to end the day at Rs 25.70 after the company announced the results for the second quarter of FY09. The company recorded 43.3 per cent y-o-y growth in revenue to Rs 560.9 crore on the back of increased sales in premium fabrics and ready-to-wear segments.
The net profit also increased by 35.7 per cent y-o-y during the same period to 58.64 crore. The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 26.1 and a low of Rs 24.7. The stock witnessed 132,484 shares changing hands on BSE on Tuesday against its two-week average of 731,742 shares.
