The Sensex is now down 313 points at 17,421.The NSE Nifty is down 68 points at 5,124.Bajaj Auto has slumped 4.6% to Rs 2,300, and HDFC Bank has plunged over 4% to Rs 1,480.Satyam has tumbled 3.6% to Rs 442, and ICICI Bank has shed 3% at Rs 1,110.Infosys has slipped 2.8% to Rs 1,585. HDFC and Reliance have dropped 2.5% each to Rs 2,581 and Rs 2,440, respectively.TCS, SBI and Mahindra & Mahindra have declined 2.3% each to Rs 897, Rs 2,130 and Rs 627, respectively.Bharti Airtel and Tata Motors have shed 2% each at Rs 851 and Rs 695, respectively.Hindustan Unilever and Reliance Energy are down 1.7% each to Rs 216 and Rs 1,568, respectively.Cipla has soared nearly 5% to Rs 197. Hindalco has gained 2.4% at Rs 194.Out of 2,726 stocks traded so far, 1,715 have declined, 937 have advanced and 74 are unchanged.
