Shares of Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts rose 4.9 per cent to Rs 46.15, after the company announced that it has opened a premium five-star hotel Taj Mount Road in Chennai. Compared to the previous day's close of Rs 44, the stock moved up 18 per cent during the day, but subsequently corrected with a decline in the market.
The low of the day was Rs 44.5; trading volumes being 44,496 shares. The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 205 on January 2 and a low of Rs 34.5 on December 4 this year.
