Upmove continues; ICICI Bank gains 5%

The Sensex is now up 319 points at 15,487.

The NSE Nifty is up 79 points at 4,609.

Jaiprakash Associates has zoomed 7.5% to Rs 197.

ICICI Bank has soared 5% to Rs 766. SBI and Maruti have surged 4.5% each to Rs 1,590 and Rs 710, respectively.

Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructure have rallied 4% each to Rs 456 and Rs 1,073, respectively.

HDFC Bank, DLF and Reliance have advanced over 3% each to Rs 1,321, Rs 566 and Rs 2,322, respectively.

ONGC, Larsen & Toubro and HDFC are up around 2% each at Rs 1,087, Rs 2,890 and Rs 2,561, respectively.

Sterlite and TCS have sliped around 1.5% each to Rs 629 and Rs 830, respectively.

Out of 2,677 stocks traded so far, 1,735 have advanced, 864 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
