The Sensex is now up 265 points at 15,432.
The NSE Nifty is up 68 points at 4,598.
Jaiprakash Associates has soared 7% to Rs 196. ICICI Bank has surged 4.7% to Rs 763.
Reliance Communications and Reliance Infrastructure have rallied over 4% each to Rs 457 and Rs 1,073, respectively.
SBI, HDFC Bank and Maruti have rallied 3.5% each to Rs 1,577, Rs 1,325 and Rs 703, respectively.
Reliance has gained 3% at Rs 2,319. DLF has moved up 2.5% to Rs 562, and ONGC has advanced over 2% to Rs 1,087.
