Weakness persists; Satyam up 2%

The NSE Nifty is down 51 points at 4,086.

ACC and Ambuja Cements have tumbled around 7% each to Rs 538 and Rs 76, respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure has shed 6.3% at Rs 831. have slumped 6.5% each to Rs 76 and Rs 829, respectively.

ICICI Bank has plunged over 5% to Rs 620. DLF and Tata Motors have slumped 4.5% each to Rs 406 and Rs 429, respectively.

HDFC, Mahindra & Mahindra and Grasim have slipped around 4% each to Rs 1,967, Rs 490 and Rs 1,869, respectively.

Maruti and Reliance Communications are down 3% each at Rs 624 and Rs 459, respectively.

Satyam has moved up 1.7% to Rs 447.

Jaiprakash Assocaites, NTPC and Hindalco have gained 1.5% each to Rs 145, Rs 153 and Rs 141, respectively.

Wipro, BHEL and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 448, Rs 1,396 and Rs 1,726, respectively.

Out of 2,574 stocks traded so far, 1,902 have declined, 617 have advanced and 55 are unchanged.
