A 22-member team of the 14th Finance Commission recently visited Manipur capital Imphal to discuss developmental works to be undertaken during the tenure of the commission.

The team, led by commission chairman Dr Y V Reddy, met Manipur Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, several ministers and senior officials.

The state government submitted a memorandum to the team. The tenure of the 14th Finance Commission will start from April 2015.

The team left Imphal on October 8, after a three-day long visit to study the State Government's performance in the 13th Finance Commission.
