Around 27million tonnes of grain is wasted every year in warehouses because of diminutive shelf life which is amid 8 -10 months.

Though the government acquired 90% of the grains under the unperturbed norms and took an intrepid step to help farmers whose harvests were smashed in the unseasonal shower and hailstorm. There's necessity to guard national concern.

The Food Corporation of India (FCI) released these stocks to the community forcirculation.

The wheat is shrunken, shattered and absencesgleam and the encounter is to discharge the iota into the market in less than a year.

Public Distribution Systemnecessitates nearly 20 million tonnes.

The FCI devises to retail the rest in the market.Nevertheless administrators say they're anxious over importations of wheat, which vends inexpensive than the government-fixed taxes of wheat.

If the government officials permit additional wheat to be traded in by the reserved companies as they've previously lined up. This in turn will lead to huge wastage and damages to the community exchequer. The government must derive out with a standard ordering that the value of smuggled wheat cannot be lesser than the worth at which Food Corporation of India is contributing the iota in the sweeping marketplace.

The reserved companies have determined agreements to importation about 5 lakh tonnes of wheat and by now 67,000 tonnes have been introduced.

An additional 50,000 tonnes are probable to reach India quickly. In this financial yeargoing through this inclination thee importations would be about 5 lakh tonnes. Import is also needed to make semolina and bleached wheat flour. The importations can be varied with the national wheat which has agonizedgleam loss for this tenacity.

Yearly, at least 2,000 quintals of iotas are fruitless as maximum of it is saved in the outer spaces. The sheds have anout of order design which makes it problematic for wagons to unswervinglyunpack. The problem is wedged with Municipal Corporations. Certainlysheds are an instantinevitability, but whenever the government goes ahead with the plan, dealersoriginateup and about their individual set of hostilities.

The marketplace chiefly gets paddy and wheat where dealers and farmers transport their harvest from U.P. Haryana, Punjab and others. The harvest is then bought by other traders, which is treated, boxed, and retailed in the market. However, for farmers from around the nationwho directly come to sell their harvest in the marketplace. The marketplace has numerous lowland zones which throughout the rainy season block up with submerged rainwater spoiling utmost all the grains.

The question arises that what can be done to huge loss which is not much for traders who bring in paddy as of former States. However, it costs life of a farmer.

The solution to it can be alternatively setting up of ethanol industries which will benefit farmer as well as economy. As our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi said that boosting amalgamation of ethanol with petrol would give some liberation to the sugar region which is facing surfeit. The farmers would be stimulated to use unfruitful land to produce jathropha which will be used in manufacturing biodiesel.

India's 77 per cent necessity on energy imports can be cut down. Encouraging ethanol and bio-diesel production will help in cutting India's massive Rs 9 lakh crores yearly import bills.

It will also be a great initiative for 'Make in India' this attempt will also be to make India a pollution free country. It will become a self- sustainable country.
