At least four people were killed and ten others wounded in an explosion in Afghanistan's Jalalabad city in the eastern province of Nangarhar on Sunday.
The explosives were detonated close to the governor's compound, reported Afghan's TOLO News, citing the unconfirmed reports, as saying.
The security forces cordoned off the area. Ambulances reached the spot to carry the victims to hospital.
The type of explosive used has not been ascertained as yet.
It is pertinent to mention that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, who is on a two-day visit to Nangarhar, earlier in the day attended the inauguration of a new hospital complex here, the report said.
