Former defense minister A.K Antony and state Janata Dal United JD(U) president Veerendra Kumar here on Thursday filed their nomination papers for Rajya Sabha election.
Both the leaders deposited their nomination documents to State Legislature secretary P D Sarangadharam at the Legislature secretariat here.
With Antony, T N Seema and K N Balagopal terms are due to expire this month three seats will get vacated in the Rajya Sabha.
Election for the RS seats will be held on March 21. The last date for filing of nomination is March 11 and withdrawal on March 14.
