Delhi Police on Tuesday assured Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Surinder Singh that they will act according to the law, in connection with the fake degree row.
"I have told him that Delhi Police acts according to the law, and in every matter we do what is prescribed in the law. Neither do we hate anyone nor do we love anyone, we act according to the law," Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi told media persons.
AAPleader Sanjay Singh had earlier in the day said that Singh had submitted all the documents in connection with the fake degree row with the Delhi Police.
Singh was questioned today for reportedly acquiring fake degree from the Sikkim University.
Surinder has claimed to have acquired his degree from the Sikkim University in 2012. However, the RTI response from the university states that the AAP leader does not exist in its records.
