Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday joined Diwali celebrations in Ayodhya.
Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik was also present at the festivities.
Adityanath reached Ayodhya earlier in the day to attend the grand Diwali celebrations at Saryu Ghat.
In the wake of celebration, security has been beefed up in all parts of the city to ward off any untoward situation.
The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister yesterday told ANI that his government is organising a special event on Diwali in Ayodhya and it will be a world-class event.
