Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi has said that he is spending time in the nets to keep himself fit for the upcoming international assignments, including the Asia Cup and the ICC World Twenty20 events, scheduled to be hosted in Bangladesh.

Afridi was recently presented a Shield by the Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan for completing 17 years in international cricket.

According to The Nation, Afridi further said that he is keeping himself fit with regular net practice for his upcoming assignments, including the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup, which are his top priorities.

Afridi also said that he would try to play a key role in helping the limited-overs team lift the T20 title and retain the Asia Cup.
