American Idol contestant Joey Cook, who was arrested for possession of marijuana at Wyoming Airport recently, has now apologised to her fans for the inconvenience caused.
The 24-year-old singer said that she carried marijuana to treat her epilepsy and will be more meticulous about laws while travelling in future, TMZ.com reports.
Cook also revealed that she will be present for her show at Denver.
Joey, who was arrested in Rock Springs, Wyoming, spent a brief five hours in jail before getting in front of the judge.
She also paid a 240 dollar fine and was put on 12 months probation.
