'American Idol' to suffer loss this season

The 'American Idol' show is reportedly going to suffer loss this season.

According to sources, the American reality-singing competition series will be suffering loss as they will be paying approximately 15 million dollars each to Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Seacrest, along with paying the 2 executive producers they fired after last season, TMZ reported.

Sources added that they will spend at least 5 million dollars on viewer phone calls, while ratings are down 26 percent from last season.

However, the show is not expected to be cancelled after this season.
