England quickie James Anderson has said that he did not feel nervous when he was given the ball with one wicket remaining to win the Test for Australia, and felt in control.
According to the Mirror, Anderson admitted that it had been an emotionally and physically draining experience after the bowler finished with figures of 10-158 in the Test, while England edged past the Aussies.
The player said that he was delighted with the way things went and the team had known that it was going to be difficult because the Australian tail is very strong, adding that it did get tight, but England stayed calm even when they were getting closer and that was the key to winning the game.
The Australians were involved in an amazing 10th wicket partnership for the second time in the Test as Brad Haddin and James Pattinson stood strong to make the victory mark appear even closer.
