With the World Championships set to proceed in Moscow this week without sprinters Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell, after failed tests, British track sprinter Dwain Chambers has said that he is amazed that athletes are still testing positive and asked them to learn from his mistakes.

According to the Mirror, Britain's 100metres champion lines up with Usain Bolt in the blue riband event at the World Championships this weekend and said that it was sad to see that people who he looked up to had fallen into the same trap in which he once did.

Chambers was banned for two years in 2003 for the use of performance-enhancing drugs, the report said.

The sprinter said that the athletes had seen what he went through but still did not learn from his experience, which was disappointing.
