Anna Paquin's scene has been cut out of the film 'X-Men
The director, Bryan singer told Entertainment Weekly that the scene had become extraneous and was just one of the things that had to go, the BBC reported.
He said that the 'True Blood' star had done a fantastic job in the film and was a brilliant actress.
Singer said that it was very disappointing, but she's very professional and knows such stuff happens, particularly with material shot early on in production.
However, he claimed that the sequence would probably feature on the film's DVD and that he would work with Paquin again in a heartbeat.
