Comedian Arsenio Hall has slapped a five-million-dollar defamation lawsuit on singer Sinead O'Connor over her allegation that the former has fueled Prince's habit of drugs.
The 60-year-old comedian's lawyers filed the suit on May 5 where he called O'Connor a "desperate attention-seeker" for posting an incendiary rant on Facebook earlier this week, reports TMZ.com.
The 49-year-old songstress alleged Prince to be a "longtime hard drug user" and Hall to have supplied for him.
According to the lawsuit, Hall has never supplied illegal drugs to the 'Purple Rain' singer and also had no contact with O'Connor for last 25-years.
The 'Nothing Compares 2 U' hit-maker's allegation came on the backdrop of U.S. Attorney's office and Drug Enforcement Administration's investigation into the 57-year-old legendary singer's death on April at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota.
