After facing a slew of resignations from AAP leaders during the first day of its National Executive Meeting, party Chief Arvind Kejriwal not only tweeted about being good friends with party leader Yogendra Yadav but also about bringing Shazia Ilmi back.
The tweet came a day after a rift broke out between party leaders Manish Sisodia and Yogendra Yadav, where the former accused the latter of targeting Kejriwal by blaming him for leaking internal matters.
Sisodia's controversial letter resulted in Yogendra Yadav's resignation from Political Action Committee (PAC) along with another leader Naveen Jaihind, both of which were not accepted.
While party leaders Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh showed up at the meeting, Kumar Vishwas was ill and did not show up.
Earlier, AAP leaders Shazia Ilmi and Captain Gopinath had resigned citing lack of inter-party democracy.
