Disney has revealed the initial details of its plan to open a theme park based on the movie 'Avatar'.
Tom Staggs, the chairman of Walt Disney parks said in a blog that the guests will witness awe-inspiring floating mountains, jungle full of bioluminescent plants that become alive with light and sound.
Staggs added that they would also experience how it feels to soar in the sky riding a banshee, Stuff.co.nz reported.
The park, which is modeled on the planet Pandora from the movie, is set to open in 2017 at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida.
