Retired football legend David Beckham made a surprise appearance at the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix and posed with mechanics from the Mercedes team at the track.
According to Goal.com, invited as a personal guest of Formula One Supremo Bernie Ecclestone, Beckham walked out onto the grid before the start of the race and watched the race with the Mercedes team.
The former Manchester United, Real Madrid and England star's presence cause a slight commotion with media and VIP guests alike seen trying to get a glimpse of Beckham, the report said.
The Singapore Grand Prix was won by Sebastian Vettel of Infiniti Red Bull, which was his third straight win, the report added.
