Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer 'Gully Boy's' trailer released today and Bollywood is in awe of the lead pair's performance.
Based on the lives of street rappers of Mumbai- Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy, the trailer is a treat to watch as the film sees Ranveer and Alia sharing screen space for the first time.
The two-minute-40-second clip shows the journey of the 'Padmaavat' star, who plays the role of an underground rapper in India who beats all odds to become famous. Just like Ranveer, Alia rebels against society to achieve her dream. The trailer also features Kalki Koechlin, who will be seen portraying a music producer.
B-town has given a thumbs up to Ranveer and Alia's raw and rugged avatars.
Celebrities including Karan Johar, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Dia Mirza, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, Sophie Choudry, Vishal Dadlani, and Diana Penty, applauded Ranveer and Alia.
"What a trailer!!!! What a vibe!!!! W(Raps) you into its world and you watch it with RAPt attention! Congratulations to EXCEL, Ritesh, Farhan, Ranveer, Alia and ZOYA!!! For this new energy film!!! This is a WINNER," KJo wrote on Twitter.

With the trailer of 'Gully Boy', Ranveer and Alia have again proved that they are Bollywood's powerhouses of talent.
The film is directed by Zoya Akhtar. This is Ranveer's second collaboration with Zoya. The first movie they had worked on together was 'Dil Dhadkne Do'. The film is all set to hit the big screens on Valentine's Day, February 14.
Apart from this, Ranveer and Alia will also be seen in Karan Johar's upcoming directorial 'Takht'. The period drama also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Bhumi Pednekar.
