Veteran of the British film and TV industry, John Chambers died at the age of 81.
Chambers died on April 5 in Kingston Hospital, London, his friend and former colleague, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday.
He worked as a finance executive with companies like British Lion Films, EMI Films, Goldcrest, World Film Services and Electric Sky Productions.
He was involved with Oscar-winning pictures, 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Gandhi.'
He also co-produced a short film, 'It Could Be Me', directed by Alan Parker and narrated by Prince Edward.
