A British paraglider has died after crashing into the Manandhar Hills near Dharamsala.
The deceased has been identified as Richard Samson, 45, a free flyer.
According to police officials, he had flown to Dharamsala from the Billing Valley on Monday. His body was found on Wednesday.
Additional Superintendent of Police of Kangra District, Mohit Chawla, said: "Yesterday morning, we got information from a local Pathan here that a dead body is lying here in the upper hills of Bhagsunag, somewhere in Malandhar. Rescue team was sent and in one preliminary investigation it was revealed that the gentleman was a British national, Samson Richard. His dead body was brought down to the zonal hospital yesterday night and today his post mortem is going on."
He also stated that the family of the deceased and the British High Commission have been informed.
