England bowler Stuart Broad has said that winning is the only thing that matters to him and his teammates and added that they are not concerned about what critics say about them.
Broad's statement came after he and his two teammates, James Anderson and Kevin Pietersen, issued an apology, three days after being caught urinating on The Oval ground during their celebrations, saying that they got carried away with the 'euphoria of winning such a prestigious series'.
The report further said that England has been walking around with their head in their clouds with a 3-0 Ashes victory and is looking forward with confidence to the upcoming Twenty20 and the one-day games against their Ashes rivals Australia.
Stating that the main thing was that they won an Ashes series 3-0 in a tough and an 'emotional roller-coaster' battle, Broad said that public will remember that they played some fantastic and exciting cricket, instead of paying any attention to the things written and talked about them, which are a part and parcel of an Ashes series.
According to Broad, such things generally tend to get blown out of proportion, adding that English fans support winning teams and are proud of what his team is putting together.
Broad further said that he and his teammates believed that an apology would put an end to the matter, which he added, has done that successfully.
