England all-rounder Stuart Broad has criticised the scheduling of their home Test series against India as 'crazy'.

England and India would face each other on the English soil in five matches over the next six weeks, with the final Test beginning on August 15.

According to the BBC, Broad said that the schedules are a little bit crazy, adding that in the next 42 days they have got 25 Test-match days, so it does not leave a lot of time to rest.

Broad, who captains England's Twenty20 side, said that one has to manage workloads, adding that would he play five matches because if he does, then they would have bowled really well.

The Test series would begin at Trent Bridge on Wednesday. England won by 319 runs the last time the two sides met at the venue, the report added.
