India A team had its second day of triumph in a row against Australia A in the four-day game at Allan Border Field, as they reduced the hosts to 6-126 at stumps with two days to play.

India's rising cricket stars made 9-475 that was aided by a double century from Naman Ojha (219 not out off 250 balls), who scored 118 runs in an extended morning session.

According to News.com.au, Australian cricket's Phil Hughes (34), Alex Doolan (12), Peter Forrest (16) and Chris Lynn (20) all got starts without managing to dominate.

Australian keeper Sam Whiteman would resume on 13 on Tuesday and a big innings would help him get lined up to replace Brad Haddin when he retires from international cricket.

Australia's bowlers generally failed to penetrate, though emerging leg-spinner Cam Boyce's 4-146 off 30 overs won praise from Ojha, even though the batsman felt he could read the youngster's wrong un.

Ojha said that he thought Boyce bowled really well, adding that the bowler has very good drift and turn.

Ojha said that Boyce would go well when he bowls in the subcontinent, adding that facing spin bowling is a strength of Asian players.'

Ojha also said that life in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with all of its global stars has made Indian players less in awe of big-name opponents.
