The Kingfisher calendar, which is known for its hot and sexy photoshoots, has often been compared to the daring Pirelli calendar.
But celebrity stylist, Director Monsoon salon, Rod Anker finds the Kingfisher calendar unique.
"Pirelli is about women and not necessarily about swimwear. It's also way risque in its style even by European standards," Anker, who along with his team at Monsoon salon has designed the look of the models for the 2014 edition of the calendar, said.
While, lensman Atul Kasbekar agrees with Anker, designer Karl Lagerfeld calls the Pirelli calendar a "form of viral marketing way ahead of its time" and a "landmark in the art world".
