Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Lu Kang said Monday that President Xi Jinping will be visiting Cambodia and Bangladesh and attend the 8th BRICS summit in Goa, India, from October 15.
According to Lu, Xi was invited by the Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni and the Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid, respectively, to pay state visits to the two countries, reports the Xinhua.
He will then be attending the BRICS summit to be held in Goa, India, at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lu said.
The BRICS nations group consists of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
