A clash broke out on Tuesday between the Congress and the BJP workers in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi during Congress president Rahul Gandhi's roadshow.
Rahul arrived in his parliamentary constituency on Monday on a two-day visit, his first after taking over as the party chief.
Earlier in the day, the Congress president conducted a 'Janata Darbar' at the Munshiganj guest house to hear the people's grievances here.
Rahul, after hearing the pleas of the public, assured everyone that their problems would be resolved soon.
He also assured financial assistance to a woman, who sought his help for medical treatment of her ailing son.
