The National Football League (NFL) has announced that Coldplay will be performing at the Super Bowl halftime.
Chris Martin and his band will perform on Feb. 7 on the 50th Super Bowl and the performance is slated to highlight the past, present and future of music, E!Online reports.
In 2014, Coldplay were one of the finalists in addition to Rihanna and Katy Perry and it was the most-watched television event of the year, drawing 121 million viewers.
The event is set to take place at Levi's Stadium in California's Santa Clara city.
